i just found this, and had to share this with everyone.  this is a page from my middle school “yearbook.”  i went to a very small private catholic school for middle school.  so small, that there was only one class per grade, about 30 of us.  Bone Thug’s “Crossroads” was the most popular song at the time.  so about 75% of my class put it down as their favorite song.  but look at my favorite song.  The Pharcyde - “Devil Music”. I was hooked on the song, and that album at the time.  but keep in mind, I was at a Catholic school, and my favorite song was called, “DEVIL Music.”  no wonder why the teachers hated me.
Stand Out: Most Unique

jaycaparino: What's up Freddie. I can easily say that it was Bedroom Mixtape that really got me into hip hop and searching for good music in general. Thanks man.

peace jaycaparino.

glad i could really help out.

I made the Bedroom Mixtape in 2006, after having food poisoning one night.  and just grabbed records from my shelves, and just recorded one take.

it can still be downloaded here:

“Take It Back” is part of Lauren’s ‘Sundays EP,’ and can be purchased on iTunes. thanks.
